New features in early 2026

The start of 2026 has been about making ProjectBuddy faster, calmer and ready for everyday use. We focused on the moments that repeat weekly: the status report as a by-product of the work, a plan that stays trustworthy, and risks that the project view surfaces earlier.

What changed

  • Clearer summaries: the status summary lists decisions and open actions in fewer words, with less filler
  • Reporting you can shape: choose the structure, tone and level of detail of the report
  • Cleaner timelines: phases and tasks are easier to read at a glance
  • Quality-of-life fixes: small changes that add up in everyday use

Fewer guesses in the plan

We also changed how ProjectBuddy handles incomplete information. If a task is missing an owner or a deadline, the AI now asks the smallest possible follow-up question instead of guessing, so the plan stays trustworthy. Read how ProjectBuddy’s AI works.

What is next

The work on the everyday views continues. If you have a way of working you want ProjectBuddy to support (PMO reporting, stakeholder updates, sprint rituals, customer projects), send us an example. Real cases shape what we build.
